Itinerary:
A five day (four night) tour staying at the Langham Hotel.
Travel down on the morning of Monday 13th March with collection points at Century BC and Ashford BC, upon arrival and checking in there will be time to relax before dinner in the evening.
Tuesday 14th sees breakfast followed by a little leisure time with a match against Eastbourne & District I.B.C. followed by dinner at the Hotel.
Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th will both consist of breakfast followed by some leisure time before leaving mid to late morning for a game of bowls, against local Clubs (Egerton Park IBC and Langney IBC) returning to the Hotel in plenty of time for dinner.
All games will be played with two shots on the first two ends and no ‘three’s up’.
After breakfast on Friday 17th there will be time for a last bit of relaxation before making the return trip home getting back to London early afternoon.
Accommodation:
Housed in a whitewashed 19th-century property, this upscale seafront hotel is a 2-minute walk from Redoubt Fortress & Military Museum and a 10-minute walk from Eastbourne Pier.
The sophisticated rooms (many with sea views) include en-suite bathrooms, plus Wi-Fi, TVs, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Amenities include a relaxed bar with terrace seating, and an airy sea-view restaurant
The newly refurbished bar is a great place to unwind with a drink from our large selection of beers, wines, soft drinks, coffee or tea.
Langham Restaurant boasts great food, excellent service and a friendly atmosphere with stained-glass windows depicting Eastbourne landmarks commissioned from a local artist.
The Hotel has 79 modern, light and airy bedrooms - many of which have a sea view - each with small seating areas for relaxation. bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, many with excellent garden views. The Hotel is entirely non-smoking.
